Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.
This job is ON - SITE.
With 1+ year of experience, this position is eligible for a $7K sign-on bonus!
FTE: 1.00
Standard Hours: 40.00
Shift: Shift 1
Full time, 8-hour days, 40 hours per week.
There are varying start times (7, 8, 9am, possibly later) depending on scheduled procedures.
Rotating weekend call along with rotating holiday call is also required.
Overtime may be required depending on the schedule.
Join an expanding busy Electrophysiology program with a variety of EP procedures:
• Cardiac Implantation devices including Pacemakers & ICDs
• Structural Heart program: Watchman device implantation (LAAO)
• One of the only Lead Extraction programs in the State of WI – caring for Low to High Risk patients
• Full variety of Basic to Complex Ablation procedures
• Robust training for new employees with preceptors, providers and “hands on” training with vendors
Job Summary:
Prepares for and assists physician in all procedures done in the Electrophysiology Lab. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from a Cardiology Interventional Program or a minimum of 2 years of experience working in EP lab or is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within one year of hire
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail 100% of the time while patients are in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in Cath Lab, EP lab or Graduate from a Cardiology Interventional Program is preferred.
