Position Description Lindsay Corporation is hiring a new Test Technician. This position will perform environmental and final acceptance tests from the component level through the top system level. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. Position Details This is a full-time position located at our newly remodeled electronics manufacturing facility located in Olathe, KS. This is a 1st shift position. Hours are Monday thru Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm. Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm. Every-other-Friday off. Occasional extension of typical hours may be necessary, dependent upon business needs.

Requirements

  • AA Degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair of digital and analog circuits to the component level preferred.
  • Proficient at the following: ability to meet shipping deadlines, taking directions and working independently.
  • Excellent attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with soldering requirements (through-hole or surface mount).
  • Familiarity with IPC specifications
  • Familiarity with multimeters, oscilloscopes, or other test equipment.
  • Familiarity with Computer languages such as Python, Linux, and C
  • Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tests from the component level through the top system level, including environmental tests and final acceptance tests from established test procedures.
  • Utilize computer applications to perform tests and keep documentation of test results
  • Interact with the production supervisor, engineering and other production departments.
  • Maintain and adhere to test procedures.
  • Decisions of acceptance or rejection on quality workmanship consistent with specifications.
  • Test and repair of customer boards and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Keep management and supervisors informed of problems, discrepancies, and possible product improvements.
  • Take care of company assets and perform other duties as assigned.
