About The Position

Job Summary: The Electronics Technician maintains, repairs, and calibrates complex electronic control systems and equipment supporting Technical Center operations. The William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace's normal hours of operation (NHO) are 6:00 A.M. through 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and repair complex control systems and electronic equipment. Read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documents. Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repair down to the component level. Conduct preventive maintenance on electronic systems. Diagnose faults in electronic circuits and devices. Document all maintenance and repair activities. Qualifications and Special Requirements: Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in maintenance and repair of complex control systems. Must be able to read and interpret electronic schematics, perform calibration, maintenance and repair, down to the electronic component level, on all electronic systems. Conditions of Employment Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test. Candidates must pass a background check prior to hire.
