The purpose of this position is to install, maintain and calibrate all electronic equipment and some mechanical equipment in accordance with PM and calibration schedules. Assist with 0TC testing. Support process improvement as directed by the Facilities Manager. In this role they need someone who has strong electronic troubleshooting and repair skills including experience doing this with PLC's, so a strong work history with PLC and Ladder Logic is needed. You must be able to reach and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and be able to troubleshoot and repair off them. You will be required to do both preventive and repair maintenance on furnaces, maintain PM and calibration logs, calibrate electronic equipment according to schedule. You will also need to do the same with probes, gauss/flux meters, ovens, magnetizers, adjusting machines and PLC programs and hardware. They have two facilities in the area that are about 10 minutes apart and you will be required to perform your duties at both facilities, so reliable transportation is a must have for this role. They will provide you with on the job training to learn about their machinery and equipment but they expect people to come in the door with advanced electronic/PLC troubleshooting and repair experience.
