About The Position

Performing thorough preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on electronic systems to ensure operational readiness and system reliability Conducting detailed diagnostic tests and repairs using precision instruments to identify faults and restore optimal functionality Interpreting and applying technical documentation, schematics, and standard operating procedures to guide maintenance operations Collaborating with engineering and support teams to coordinate repairs, system upgrades, and modifications while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Documenting maintenance activities, test results, and corrective actions to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in an electronics technician role
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of complex electronic systems in compliance with DoD requirements
  • Proficient in interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot and calibrate electronic components
  • Skilled in utilizing specialized diagnostic tools, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators, to identify and resolve system malfunctions
  • Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to streamline repair tracking and maintenance scheduling
  • Experience with advanced soldering techniques and circuit board testing tools to enhance repair quality and efficiency
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical issues to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced maintenance environment
