About The Position

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced electronic systems to ensure continuous operational readiness in compliance with DoD standards Conducting detailed diagnostics using specialized test equipment to identify component failures and execute corrective repairs Reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and system manuals to plan and execute maintenance tasks accurately Collaborating with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal system downtime Documenting all maintenance activities, including repair logs and calibration records, to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance #LI-TF1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • Five plus years experience in an electronics technician role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing complex maintenance, diagnostics, and repair operations on advanced electronic systems in accordance with DoD specifications
  • Proficient in interpreting technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot and calibrate electronic components using specialized diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters)
  • Possess an active DoD secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and predictive maintenance tools to optimize repair schedules and reduce downtime
  • Experience with lean maintenance practices and process improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to mentor junior technicians and effectively communicate technical issues to cross-functional teams
