About The Position

The Opportunity: The Opportunity: Work with a motivated team to coordinate the maintenance, integration and production of systems in support of our Armed Forces. Be able to lift 40 lbs. unassisted. Frequently requires the ability to perform tasks alone, maintain established procedures and standards, and verbally and in writing communicate results and document findings accurately. Must be able to adjust priorities based on changes to customer requirements.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communication, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.
Formal electronics training, to include: Installation tasks, soldering, cable dressing, cable tray, conduit and making/repairing connectors.
Eight (8) years of practical experience, to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance, Installation and Checkout.
Two (2) years of experience, to include: supervision, and shop practices.
Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation, and six (6) years of experience with Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems.
Note: Experience may be concurrent.
Secret Clearance required

Nice To Haves

Previous SATCOM, software imaging/configuration and networking experience, Security +, skill with MS Outlook/Word/Project/Visio/PowerPoint, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment within a mandatory schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, integration and testing of SATCOM equipment.
Open work orders and coordinate the return (RMA) of systems and/or equipment requiring Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) repair, and/or local vendor replacement.
