About The Position

A successful candidate for this Regional Maintenance Electronics Technician (Electronics Technician II) position, shall have journeyman level experience in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electronics systems, equipment, and machinery; be able to work independently to complete work assignments received by a supervisor; read and interpret blueprints; and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in electronics from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive experience in the repair and maintenance of complex electronic systems including some responsibility for the design of electronic apparatus; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Based on the nature of work performed, may require appropriate licensure by the governing board or commission

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated experience in the installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of head end control equipment used with class A loop building fire alarm life safety systems, internet and phone communication systems, tool control systems, video surveillance systems, electronic and pneumatic security control systems, perimeter security systems, AND / OR building automation systems.
• Demonstrated experience in the installation of low voltage conduit and circuitry for class A loop building fire alarm life safety systems, internet and phone communication systems, tool control systems, video surveillance systems, electronic and pneumatic security control systems, perimeter security systems, AND / OR building automation systems.
• Demonstrated experience with standard test equipment to diagnose electronic components.
• Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
