As an Electronics Technician, you’ll play a critical role in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing electronic products using advanced tools like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and Hi-Pot meters. Requirements

  • Education: A 2-year degree in Electronics or related field, Certified Electronics Program (18 months), or 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field. PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of manufacturing experience with a 2-year degree or Certified Electronics Program, or no experience required with a 4-year degree.
  • Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting to the component level, using tools and gauges, interpreting schematics, and maintaining close specifications. Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and basic computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Test and Troubleshoot: Set up and operate specialized test equipment to evaluate electronic products, troubleshooting to the component and sub-assembly level using schematics and established procedures.
  • Collaborate and Lead: Provide technical guidance to Assemblers and mentor new technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Drive Quality: Interpret drawings and specifications, recommend process improvements, and ensure all quality feedback is documented and communicated effectively.
