The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The person hired for this position will be part of a team of engineers responsible for designing, commercializing, and supporting manufacture of electronic Hearing Protection and Communication product solutions, primarily for the industrial marketplace. These exciting new systems will utilize various forms of electronics-based hardware, sensors and wireless technologies to deliver products that protect our customers from hazardous environments. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of commercializing electronics-based products/systems with interfacing software and must be current with technology trends and landscape. As a Electronics Hardware Development Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Responsible for supporting manufacture and quality of existing product portfolio Responsible for electronics/hardgoods design, development and commercialization of new electronics hardware/firmware embedded system based product solutions. Help translate VOC and business goals into tangible product design and system requirements. Serve as key team member. Plan and manage work to meet project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Four (4) years’ experience in product development and design of electronics-based products in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
  • U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum.   • The expected compensation range for this position is $122,292 - $149,468, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
