Job Description Summary: An Electronics/Electrical Engineer 1 designs, develops, tests, and oversees the manufacturing of electrical printed circuit boards (PCBs), analog and digital circuits, electronic equipment, sensors, motors, radar and navigation systems. The engineer develops the architecture, designs circuits, performs simulations, performs physical layout, verifies and tests designs. They perform a variety of engineering activities throughout the life cycle to support planning, design, test, deployment, and sustainment. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Translates project and system requirements into well-defined hardware architectures working with cross functional teams. Innovatively solves issues, drives completion of the project to schedule, and collaboratively works with other technical contributors. Builds, debugs, and tests prototypes and deliverable hardware. Prepares documentation for manufacturing and provides continuous support. Researches and enables innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs. Engages other engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost-effective end solutions for products. Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and development partners regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Independently executes assignments under the oversight of program leadership. Contributes content for technical reports and presentations with appropriate guidance. Identifies challenges associated with assigned work and communicates them to project leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic or electrical engineering or related field.
  • 0-3 years experience in electronic or electrical engineering or related field.
  • Applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
