This role is an integral part of Blue Origin Operations, which encompasses Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance, including Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. The Electronics Fabrication Director is responsible for directing and overseeing all Electronics Fabrication duties and activities. This involves developing and implementing strategies aimed at enhancing the organization's financial performance and competitive positioning through the continuous improvement of production-related processes. The Director identifies and approves changes to processes or procedures that could benefit from improvement or efficiency optimization. Key responsibilities include developing a strategic plan and production schedule to increase profit while reducing overhead, and establishing quality and safety standards while tracking vendor or organizational performance. As a leader within a dedicated team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, this individual will define and lead the strategic vision for additive manufacturing at Blue Origin, applying their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to contribute positively to safe human spaceflight.
