Join us as a Circuit Design Engineering Manager and become a member of the Analog and Digital Engineering Avionics team, focused on the NGI program Electronics. Location: This position does not support teleworking ; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Sunnyvale CA Littleton CO You will be working a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. As a Circuit Design Engineering Manager you will work on the development and production of electronics for the NGI program.

Requirements

  • Project lead in electronics hardware design with a track record of success in meeting technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
  • Electronics hardware design, development and test experience of avionics electronics, at the circuit card and unit level.
  • Project leadership in electronics hardware design.
  • Experience in the development including product ownership responsibility for missile, space, or equivalent high reliability applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience with Avionics Architecture (physical / functional).
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit design and analysis.
  • Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics.
  • Experience with Test and Measurement Equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Aerospace experience supporting development of Flight Hardware.
  • Certified Product Engineer or Responsible Systems Integration engineering experience.
  • Supply chain technical oversight experience including proposal support and technical evaluations.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills are required, with an ability to address diverse audiences, such as customer reviews, management meetings, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership on a fast paced team from requirements through development and production.
  • Be responsible to assure coordination between functional groups during the product development life cycle.
  • Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
  • Conducting personnel management for a portion of the team.
  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.
  • Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
  • Participate in technical reviews and audits.
