Weir Marine Engineering is seeking an Electronic Engineer to join our Electronics Measurement and Control group. This role supports the engineering team in the development, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic equipment, data acquisition systems, and control systems. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and versatile engineer capable of applying sound engineering analysis, strong analytical reasoning, and general programming skills, including the ability to learn and adapt to legacy codebases. Responsibilities include supporting in-house embedded software and electronic system development. The position is primarily based in an office or laboratory environment, with occasional field assignments aboard ships and short travel to external test sites.
