The position of the Electronics Bench Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, estimation, installation of electronic parts, and interaction with end users to ensure a positive service repair experience. This position will also maintain rental equipment and prepare new equipment for delivery to end-users. Troubleshooting, evaluating, estimating, and repairing customer GPS survey/machine control as well as construction laser equipment. Anticipate parts needs and add to order list. Maintain SITECH NCFL rental equipment; conduct repairs when necessary and approved by management. Prepare new equipment for delivery; may include upgrading firmware/software, inputting passcodes, and calibrating. Interact and support end users to ensure a positive service and support experience. Including; providing estimates and status updates to customers. Communicate with service manager regularly to stay educated on the latest training, tools, and techniques in this field of service. Maintain office/shop space, tools, and equipment.
