Electronic Security Service Technician

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Vocational Training.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in security service or installation.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with commercial intrusion, fire systems, CCTV, intercoms, and access control systems.
- Strong understanding of local and national codes.
- Proficiency with testing equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and written procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in delivering quality work.
Responsibilities
- Respond to routine and emergency service requests with professionalism and urgency.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning security equipment, ensuring systems operate at peak performance.
- Provide hands‑on coaching and guidance to junior technicians or trainees as needed.
- Deliver outstanding customer support and walk clients through system operations and functionality.
- Perform system testing, verification, and detailed documentation of work performed.
- Maintain proper inventory of tools, parts, and equipment on your service vehicle.
- Organize technical resources efficiently to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Submit all required reports, task logs, and documentation on time.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and see them through to completion.
- Assist with additional projects or responsibilities as needed.
