Requirements

  • 2+ year of experience installing low-voltage structured cabling systems (Fiber/Data, Access Control, CCTV, IDS)
  • Knowledge of low-voltage electronics, wiring, and industry color standards
  • Experience coordinating work in construction or active jobsite environments
  • Basic networking knowledge and use of test equipment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DMV, drug, and background screenings
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% and ability to obtain government clearance

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems and data communication networks
  • Work with access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems
  • Install and terminate copper and fiber cabling
  • Perform system testing, functional checks, and documentation
  • Collaborate with teammates and other trades to ensure successful project execution
