About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking an Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) Analyst SME to join a team providing intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, Joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the 68 EWS. This position supports the SWW within the TMAS2 Tenants contract on Eglin AFB, FL. As an ELINT Analyst SME, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, and 9 years of related experience. 12 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Applied extensive expertise in ELINT, including the collection, analysis, and exploitation of non-communication electronic signals such as radar emissions.
  • Possess testing and debugging skills related to mission data development and testing.
  • Experience designing, programming, and implementing EW scenarios.
  • Understand essential information to make threat/non-threat determination and develop EW countermeasures.
  • Active Secret clearance is required to start work, incumbent must be able to maintain a DoD Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Development and implementation of data for FMS aircraft EW and/or defensive systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and common software applications to include use of peripheral computer equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and test mission data for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.
  • Develop, maintain, and leverage electronic warfare (EW) databases to construct Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) intelligence, effectively prioritizing threats based on customer requirements.
  • Operate Advanced Architecture Phase, Amplitude and Time Simulators (A2PATS).
  • Ensure the on-time delivery of mission-critical data by developing, verifying, and validating advanced radio-frequency emitter definitions and simulations.
  • Help administer a large-scale A2PATS library, managing a database of roughly 250 threat emitters and 3,000 modes of operation for EW system testing.
  • Provide engineering and analysis in the following activities: developing and updating threat databases, conducting, and reporting performance characterization assessments; developing and using software simulations and EW laboratory facilities to verify and validate data prior to fielding; determining the suitability of techniques against various threats; and performing rapid reprogramming of fielded data in response to adversary threat changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure mission data design, development, and testing meets customer requirements.
  • Mentor new staff, equipping them with the necessary skills to fulfill organizational objectives.
  • Operate spectrum analyzer, signal generator and oscilloscope for testing, validation and diagnostics.
  • Provide periodic updates to 68 EWS leadership and test teams concerning emitter build requirements and feedback.
