As an Electronic Engineer in the Aftermarket Enhancements Engineering group, you will be responsible for CAT Technology Aftermarket Enhancements products with a strong focus electrical and electronic hardware system integration. Assists in the design, development, testing and manufacturing of electronic systems and other components for use within equipment or machinery. What You Will Do: Participating in the testing of electronic prototypes to ensure quality and safety in products. Assisting in the development and design of electronic prototypes using established theories and practices. Designing systems, components and devices that are consisting of electrical and electronic technology. Supporting internal and external manufacturing facilities that manufacture or install electronic systems and components. What You Will Have: Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges. Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Electronics Engineering: Knowledge of electronics engineering; ability to design, test and manufacture electronic circuits, components and devices. Product Design: Knowledge of and the ability to utilize design tools (e.g. CAD) to convert customer and market requirements into a product design. Mechanical Engineering: Knowledge of mechanical engineering processes, techniques and methods; ability to design and implement machines and other mechanical devices that safely realize a desired objective or invention.
