About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Electronic Banking Specialist is to support back-office functions for all electronic banking products, including Cash Management and Remote Deposit Capture.   Key responsibilities include file retention, documentation verification, report creation, activity verification and operational support. The role requires maintaining awareness of product enhancements, assisting with investigation related to electronic banking activity and supporting electronic banking products through all stages of the lifecycle from research, and implementation, to ongoing support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in electronic banking and technical support preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to interact positively with customers, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple tasks, and adapt to change.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, accuracy and dependability
  • Ability to travel to other branches as needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining a respectful, and professional work environment free of unlawful discrimination and harassment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Jack Henry systems/applications is desirable.
  • Cross-selling products experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a thorough understanding of bank policies, procedures and documentation requirements related to electronic banking products and services.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of electronic banking products offered by Hebron Savings Bank.
  • Reviews and analyze multi-system reports to audit and evaluate business electronic banking customer activity, usage, volume, exceptions, and processing issues.
  • Prepares and maintain required documentation for new and existing business electronic banking customers in coordination with the VP, Cash Management Manager.
  • Organize and support Cash Management and Remote Deposit Capture audits, including monthly report, retention, review of daily notifications, and monitoring of customer electronic communications.
  • Provides business electronic banking support through email, secure messaging, verbal communication, call back verifications and transactional verifications.
  • Organizes, maintains, and verifies electronic and physical customer files related to Cash Management and Remote Deposit Capture ensuring proper documentation retention.
  • Reviews and maintain daily electronic banking reports in collaboration with the Electronic Banking Manager and take appropriate action to verify activity as required.
  • Assists with electronic banking fraud documentation, tracking and investigation support.
  • Monitor electronic banking activity to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and appropriate customer access levels.
  • Participates in electronic banking product management, including new product research, review of systems updates, product enhancements, and implementation of new products or services.
  • Provides electronic banking support to both financial institution employees and customers.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities, and meets deadlines.
  • Exhibits professional behavior and effective communication when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
