ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - GREELEY, CO. Target Pay = $32.74 OVERVIEW: The Electromechanical Technician will support the operation and maintenance of automated equipment in a food manufacturing facility. This role is essential for ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient production. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyors, packaging equipment, and automated machinery. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance, ideally in a food or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on electromechanical equipment, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, sensors, and PLCs.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment malfunctions or failures, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to effectively troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Work closely with the production and engineering teams to understand equipment functionality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Calibrate, adjust, and replace components on equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used, following GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices, and participate in safety training as required.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to improve equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on industry practices, technology, and safety standards.
