About The Position

You will be the Electromechanical Engineer for the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) Increment 2 Rapid Combat Capability (RCC) program. Our team is responsible for designing, building, and testing the telemetry harnesses that enable the next generation missile to operate reliably in harsh size, weight, and power environments. As the Electromechanical Engineer you will lead the development of system interconnect diagrams and model based harness designs, while coordinating procurement and verification activities. You will work closely with cross functional partners to ensure every harness meets performance, safety, and schedule targets. Your responsibilities will include: Re packaging legacy electronic assemblies into new enclosures that satisfy size, weight, and environmental constraints. Collaborating with structural, thermal, configuration management, electrical/mechanical designers, subcontractors, planning, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration. Providing technical support throughout design reviews, engineering data releases, assembly, inspection, and test phases. Leading and mentoring a focused team of 1-2 electromechanical engineers, fostering inclusive teamwork and continuous learning. Traveling as needed to support program milestones, supplier audits, and field verification activities.   • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and tolerance

Responsibilities

  • Creating detailed interconnect schematics in Zuken and generating model based harness layouts.
  • Building and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials, sourcing quotes, and managing build up with internal shops and external vendors.
  • Defining acceptance criteria, executing verification tests, and documenting results for each harness upon receipt.
  • Re packaging legacy electronic assemblies into new enclosures that satisfy size, weight, and environmental constraints.
  • Collaborating with structural, thermal, configuration management, electrical/mechanical designers, subcontractors, planning, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Providing technical support throughout design reviews, engineering data releases, assembly, inspection, and test phases.
