We are currently seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Tech to join our operations team! As an Electromechanical Assembly Tech, you will complete assembly, alignment, and testing on our optical and electronic equipment. SUMMARY Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties. Reads and follows engineering drawings, work instructions and/or electrical schematics to test and troubleshoot opto-mechanical assemblies. Complete the appropriate Quality Control documents associated with the testing of opto-mechanical systems. Load software and/or PLC programs Aligns cameras and/or laser scanners to perform within specified quality criteria. Uses standard electrical test equipment such as a multi-meter to test/troubleshoot electronic assemblies. Use hand tools such as wire strippers, screw drivers, wire crimpers, wrenches, etc. as needed to assemble/test equipment.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in electronics field, and 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or electrical field. Combination of experience and training acceptable.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Any certificate which relates to a technical completion (i.e. Basic Electronics certification from military service.)
  • Computer training/experience desirable.

Responsibilities
