This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts you will be responsible for the top-level EMC, lightning, and RF integration and architecture for electrical and electronic systems on New Glenn. You will be responsible for defining and documenting the EME requirements for New Glenn electrical systems and components. You will lead design trades for system approaches for EMC, RF, static, and lightning tolerance. You will be responsible for developing verification strategies for electrical system design requirements for electromagnetic effects (EME) tolerance.
