You will be the Electro-Optical Engineer for the Electro Optical Infrared (EOIR) Team which is responsible for... What You Will Be Doing As the Electro-Optical Engineer you will be responsible for leading the integration of EOIR solutions within advanced aircraft programs.

Requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Familiarity with Avionics, EW/CM, Radar, CNI, EO/IR Sensors or Fusion Systems
Electro-Optical Systems Engineering Development and Integration Skills.
Communication and presentation skills.
Organizational skills - ability to oversee multiple tasks, identify and resolve conflicts, and keep projects on schedule.

Nice To Haves

Laboratory, Field and Flight Test of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems experience on defense contracts.
Familiarity with engineering oversight of supplier(s).
Fundamental understanding of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems with experience testing/troubleshooting sensors, sensor systems or avionics using various types of test equipment.
Professional and interpersonal communication skills required to interface with individuals from various disciplines while performing complex serial and parallel tasks required to successfully deliver support equipment products to our customer
Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex and challenging electronic systems
Problem solving and project planning experience
Experience with Military or Government Programs
Experience interfacing with customers and subcontractors.
Proposal technical leadership experience

Responsibilities

Define, review, and document engineering requirements for EOIR systems.
Coordinate with principal engineers, stakeholders, and customers to align specifications.
Plan, develop, integrate, and validate optical, infrared, and laser systems on fighter aircraft.
Prepare and deliver technical briefings to customers and senior leadership.
Support travel to national and international program sites for testing and meetings.
