About The Position

Alexandria Insights is seeking an Electro-Optic (EO) Functional Expert to support Program Manager Ground Weapon Systems (PM GWS) onsite at the Electro-Optic Support Facility (EOSF), Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico. This position is contingent upon contract award. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical/scientific discipline; degree can be substituted for 4 additional years of relevant combination of working experience in the field
  • With degree, minimum 10 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in Electro Optics field
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government players is required
  • Excellent MS 365 and Visio skills are required
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with a history of demonstrating initiative
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required

Responsibilities

  • Develops test plans and methods/procedures
  • Tests a broad range of electro optical systems to include day optical, image intensification, laser, and thermal systems
  • Provides technical analysis of test results, processes testing data, participates in limited user evaluations
  • Upkeeps the test equipment
  • Conducts electro-optical systems surveillance, troubleshooting, maintenance, and maintenance management
  • Maintains inventory control and proper accountability documentation of all equipment at the facility
  • Supports equipment shipment to and from the facility
  • Ensures EOSF Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are maintained and followed
  • Works with user groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise
