About The Position

Engineering Interns are responsible for supporting the general needs of the Dev Mfg Test Systems. You will work side by side with our experienced engineers in hardware analysis and designs used in test systems designed for manufacturing purposes.

Requirements

• 2 years undergraduate schooling (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering (BSME)
• Tolerance stack-up analysis, modeling
• Bench test and debug skills

Nice To Haves

• 0-2 years (or equivalent) towards a MSME preferred
• Experience with SolidWorks

Responsibilities

• Failure Mode Analysis
• Analyze test system HW design, identifying potential failure modes
• Simulate failure modes on the bench or with simulation tools
• Propose design mitigations for identified failure modes
• Development Support
• Assist with development efforts as required, under the direction of an Engineer
• Test system performance, reliability and robustness
• Technology Research- automation and robotics
• Electro-mechanical interface
