About The Position

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will apply knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and troubleshooting skills in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to normal operation in order to minimize downtime.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience in one of the following: industrial electrical, mechanical, repair, welding, millwright, plumbing/pipefitting machining or sheet metal fabrication
Basic technical knowledge of electrical/electronic and 3 phase motors and understanding of fluid power systems

Nice To Haves

Welding certification with a concentration in sanitary welding highly desirable

Responsibilities

Analyze, troubleshoot and repair systems to maintain process efficiency
Understand and analyze technical specifications of electro-mechanical systems
Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to detect and prevent problems
Develop troubleshooting skills to systematically identify and prevent problems and failures
Coordinate efforts with other technicians involved in installing/maintaining equipment or components, to ensure that systems function properly
Communicate with machine operators, understand and have a working knowledge of equipment to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions and verify system problems
Observe and incorporate safety standards and regulations required for safe operation of the system.
Support general housekeeping and sanitation within the work area and must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
