The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance (specify equipment on your site). Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Northlake, TX site location. Aids and mentors lower-level employees. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. This role is for 2nd shift, Sunday-Thursday, 3 pm - 11:30 pm. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $24 to $29.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do in This Role: Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking, component adjustment and replacement, and component lubrication. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to ensure equipment longevity. Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry and resolve issues efficiently. Build and close work orders into the asset management system with detailed data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Troubleshoot conveyance problems and determine the resources needed for successful resolution. Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory to minimize downtime. Perform sophisticated maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet stringent specifications. Aid with training customers to operate equipment effectively and safely. Respond promptly to service calls and address equipment failures and faults. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them, ensuring seamless operations.
