About The Position

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC Location: 2473 W. 2950 N., Salt Lake City, UT 84116 (On-site) Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 40+ hours per week Join Our Start-Up Facility! Bridor North America is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic for our brand-new industrial bakery in Salt Lake City. These newly created positions offer a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art production equipment and help shape operations from the ground up. Requirements

  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with PLCs and VFDs (basic electrical troubleshooting a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, FDA, DEP, EPA, and TCPA regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience (food industry preferred)
  • Good decision-making, initiative, and organizational skills
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and write English

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
  • Install, modify, and repair equipment to ensure operational efficiency
  • Follow all food safety, GMP, and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS
  • Assist with equipment changeovers, setups, and calibrations
  • Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns
