Your mission Own critical steps in final assembly for world-class trains. You’ll bring components to life, ensure exacting fit and finish, and help deliver vehicles known for safety, reliability, and sustainability.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing or related trades (electrical panel assembly, construction, automotive, electrical service).
  • Comfort with basic English communication (written and spoken).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read drawings/diagrams and parts lists is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Construct core coach assemblies: roofs, cable harnesses, mounted parts, electrical racks and panels, air supply racks, and piping assemblies.
  • Bond and align floor panels; set windows; install door systems with accuracy.
  • Install interiors: insulation, sidewall panels, seats, and luggage racks.
  • Route and terminate electrical harnesses to subassemblies and final points.
  • Tackle rework: disassemble, modify, refurbish, and reassemble as needed.
  • Translate production blueprints, wiring diagrams, wire/parts lists, sketches, and verbal instructions into complete electrical or electro-mechanical subassemblies.
  • Perform delicate, small-part work using excellent fine motor skills.
