The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing electro-mechanical components and systems according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a high level of precision, technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an electro-mechanical assembler or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong soldering skills and experience with electronic components and wiring.
- Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation purposes.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems, including wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly, following blueprints and schematics.
- Conduct testing and inspection of assembled products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with assemblies or components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and inventory usage.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly procedures and product designs.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
