3rd shift Maintenance: Electro-Mechanic
About The Position
U.S. Boiler Company, a subsidiary of Burnham Holdings, Inc., specializes in designing, engineering, and manufacturing residential and commercial heating products exclusively for the North American market. The company is seeking an Electro Mechanic to join their team. This full-time, union-hourly position, located in Lancaster, PA, involves maintaining and adjusting equipment, procuring materials from stock, and assisting with major work projects. Key responsibilities include repairing and installing electrical equipment such as transformers, switchers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and conduit systems. The ideal candidate will possess both electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Six (6) months to two (2) years of formal trades training (i.e., welding, machining, HVAC, electrical, etc.), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Installs and repairs simple electrical equipment such as switches, receptacles, motors and simple circuit systems.
- Ability to determine proper input voltages and continuity on relays and I/O boards.
- Installs and repairs simple mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, racking, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Builds non-complex jigs and fixtures.
- Maintains buildings and structures in repair.
- Installs and repairs piping systems such as water, steam and compressed air.
