When you join Caterpillar, you're joining a global team who cares not just about the work we do – but also about each other. We are the makers, problem solvers, and future world builders who are creating stronger, more sustainable communities. We don't just talk about progress and innovation here – we make it happen, with our customers, where we work and live. Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. Join our Dynamic Energy Transfer (DET) Product Development team, where we’re redefining how energy flows through mining and heavy equipment systems. DET is at the forefront of Caterpillar’s innovation, enabling efficient power distribution to machines to maximize performance and lower total cost of ownership. Our mission is to deliver products that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency through well-planned validation strategies. We don’t just design energy transfer systems, we ensure they perform flawlessly in the toughest real-world conditions. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who wants to shape how complex systems are validated. In this role, you’ll collaborate with design, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams to define validation strategies, develop test plans, and ensure product quality throughout development. You will be responsible for creating validation processes for a new Caterpillar product, coordinating execution at the Tucson Proving Ground and customer sites, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
