Job Description Job Description Role: Electrician Job Summary: The primary function of this role is to maximize plant performance through troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade of electrical equipment. Manage a s signed wor k o rder s . Troubleshoot an d repair electrical equipme n t. Wor k in a te a m s e ttin g with oth e r maintenanc e p e rsonnel. Wor k with c o mp u ter s , li n e drive, and PLC s , Ability to run conduit an d knowledge of releva n t c odes. Understan d and c o mply with all saf e ty rules, including Lock, Tag, and V e rify. Wor k with minimal sup e rvision; manag e t i me e ff e ctively while handling m u ltiple jobs wit h varying pri o rities. The position is subje c t t o 24-ho u r call o u t; shift a n d weekend work. Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to climb stairs and work high up. Qualifications: Minimum of fiv e years maintenance exp e rience i n a plant s e tting. Associates De g ree in In d ustrial Electrical Mainte n ance or Licensed Ele c tr i cian. Knowledge of Allen Bra d ley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs and Pro g ra m ming. Proficient i n diagnosing and te s ting mot o rs an d mot o r co n tro l circuit s . Experience with various i nstr u ment a tion sen s or s and transm i tt e rs. Must be abl e t o wor k with comp u te r base d mai n tenance softwar e . Requirements

  • Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a plant setting.
  • Associates Degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or Licensed Electrician.
  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs and Programming.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors and motor control circuits.
  • Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters.
  • Must be able to work with computer based maintenance software.
  • Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects.
  • Manage assigned work orders.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment.
  • Work in a team setting with other maintenance personnel.
  • Work with computers, line drive, and PLCs
  • Ability to run conduit and knowledge of relevant codes.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules, including Lock, Tag, and Verify.
  • Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics.
  • Organize work area, tools and parts.
  • Work with minimal supervision; manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities.
  • The position is subject to 24-hour call out; shift and weekend work.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and work high up.
