About The Position
Rotating shift electrician responsible for maintaining all cold mill electrical equipment, this includes switch gear, motor drives, PLC controls, gauge systems, instrumentation, cab cranes, etc.
Requirements
- Must be qualified to safely work around all levels of electrical supply voltage.
- Strong electrical maintenance skills, basic knowledge of PLC controls and AC/DC motor drives a must.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the area of Safety, know all SDI safety programs and assist with the implementation of these programs.
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance of all cold mill electrical equipment, answer maintenance calls on shift and perform project work.
