We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. This role requires knowledge of electrical systems, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety standards.

  • Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
  • Identify electrical problems using testing devices such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ammeters.
  • Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Install, repair, and maintain 480V and 3-phase electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control centers, control panels, and plant lighting systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E standards, and relevant local/state electrical codes.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical panels, control circuits, switchgear, and backup power systems (e.g., generators, UPS units).
  • Support electrical project planning and provide accurate estimates for labor, materials, and timelines.
  • Participate in safety audits and training initiatives, ensuring compliance with LOTO procedures, and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Recommend upgrades to improve energy efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman or Master Electrician license with demonstrated experience in 480V and 3-phase systems, preferred
  • Valid electrician license or certification as required by local/state regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash safety, and PPE requirements.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a variety of environments (e.g., heights, confined spaces, outdoors).
  • Strong understanding of automation, sensors, limit switches, and electrical schematics.
  • Competency in reading and updating wiring diagrams, single-line drawings, and panel layouts.
  • Experience in metals manufacturing or heavy industry is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of electrical.
