About The Position
Observe and practice all corporate safety policies and procedures. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Install electrical below grade conduit and Ground Grid installations. Installations of above grade rigid conduit and cable tray. Ability to perform activities related to cable instillation and terminations. Installation of equipment related to metering, communication systems, and relaying systems which include electro-mechanical and solid-state electronic types where applicable. Performs all phases of installation, and inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Requirements
- Should hold a valid electrical license from any state.
- Electrical apprenticeship program completion preferred.
- Knowledge of technical practices in order to plan, layout, and complete maintenance or repair needed for high voltage equipment.
- Skilled in using and maintaining electrical tools and test equipment such as rotation meters, digital test equipment, amp meters, voltmeters, meggers.
- Knowledge of Substation grounding to create an equipotential work zone and skilled in installing protection grounds.
