JOB SUMMARY: Perform various duties required to fabricate wiring harnesses and install components, circuit modules, relays, diodes and harnesses in a variety of assemblies and chassis units for all types of electronic and electromechanical products.

Requirements

  • Must possess a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be able to read and understand English.
  • Must be able to read tape measure.
  • Attention to detail; Strong work ethic; Team Player.
  • Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop.
  • Must have use of hands and be able to work over-head.
  • Must be able to stand, squat, and grasp.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various duties required to fabricate wiring harnesses and install components, circuit modules, relays, diodes and harnesses in a variety of assemblies and chassis units for all types of electronic and electromechanical products.
  • Responsible for mechanical assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, AC/DC drives, motors, and other devices, etc.
  • Design and fabricate electrical boxes for installation of components.
  • Drill, edge fill, fit and assemble a variety of detail parts, and assemblies, including cutting openings in bodies to accommodate wire and components, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Inspect for proper installations and integrity.
  • Ability to use general and precision tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc
  • Must read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, blueprints and schematics.
  • Maintain necessary documentation and records.
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly.
  • Perform assembly operations on structural and mechanical sub/assemblies, equipment and accessories.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
