JOB SUMMARY: Ensures safe, efficient operation of all electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, transformer sub-stations, power & data wiring equipment and other related systems. Assists Shift Supervisors with daily assignments and scheduling of Electrician personnel. Coordinates all functions of the Electrical Shop.

Requirements

High school graduate preferred.
Must possess strong communication skills.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Minimum five years experience working with electrical equipment and other related systems.
Must possess a Class-D Electrical License or greater issued by the City of New Orleans.
Must possess a valid Louisiana Drivers License.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino, and work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned task.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, climb ladders and work on man-lift type equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to read and understand Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical Plans.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of all electrical equipment and related systems.
Applies operational procedures as required by state and local codes.
Maintains log of all equipment status and inventory of parts and materials necessary for repairs.
Keeps all equipment, equipment rooms and other assigned areas clean.
Responsible for preventive and regular maintenance of all equipment.
Assists all other trades in the Facilities Department as directed by Shift Supervisor.
A security escort is required should these persons perform these job functions in a restricted casino area.
Performs duties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
