Provides for installation, inspection, maintenance and operation of electrical and electronic equipment, devices and circuitry. Skills and knowledge are typically acquired through a HS Diploma or equivalent , 2-year Associates degree in Electronics and two (2) years of electrical or electronic work experience. Electronics training or electronics work experience may be substituted for the 2-year Associates degree in Electronics. A valid Class A CDL Driver's License is preferred, Class B license required, the ability to pass a pre-employment driving physical, the ability to lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or more and the ability to operate equipment to which assigned is required. Must have a working knowledge of the National Electric Code. May be required to work early or late shifts that include weekends, to perform preventative/corrective equipment maintenance and provide assistance/direction to less experienced electricians and/or assigned helpers.
