The Commercial Foreman plays a key leadership role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This position is responsible for coordinating jobsite activities, supervising field personnel, and maintaining communication with project managers and superintendents. While this is a leadership position, the Foreman is also expected to be tools-on as needed, depending on crew size, project demands, and schedule requirements.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of electrical or construction field experience.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience in commercial construction.
Must be able to speak and understand English clearly.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
Completion of OSHA 30 Construction Certification within 90 days of hire.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage electricians and apprentices on assigned commercial projects.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
Review and interpret electrical drawings and construction plans.
Communicate effectively with project managers, general superintendents, and general contractors.
Ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Plan ahead to meet material and scheduling needs.
Document daily reports, inspections, and material orders.
Foster teamwork and accountability among crew members.
