In this role, you assist in the integration and modification of aircraft wiring for the P-8 platform, with a focus on supporting the INC 3 Block 2 modification program. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and technical subject matter experts to ensure superior capability and performance of the aircraft. Requirements
- Two years' experience in wire design, wire installation or in working with electrical equipment
- Experience to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical information in a clear and concise manner
Nice To Haves
- Three plus years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active Security Clearance
- Experience on an Electrical Corrective Action Team
- Prior Aircraft Electrician experience
- Experience working on P-8 Increment 3 Block 2 (I3B2) or similar modification programs
- Familiarity with technical aspects of the 737 and/or P-8 platform and its wire design
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the modification, troubleshooting, and resolution of wire routing and installation issues for the P-8 aircraft, focusing on the I3B2 modification program
- Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
- Supports analysis and design review boards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and assess I3B2 program modification performance to ensure seamless mod incorporation onto the aircraft platform with particular focus on optimization of wire routing and installation
- Support troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve test failures during the modification program
- Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and technical contractors to diagnose wiring issues, define technical solutions, and communicate progress and updates related to aircraft modifications and support
- Collaborate with the engineering team to provide guidance during modification planning and execution phases
