This position will involve working on a variety of tanker and commercial derivative aircraft. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize electrical and avionics systems expertise to make an immediate and long-lasting impact on USAF's large aircraft fleets.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years’ related work experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • Experience using Electrical Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as Mentor Graphics, Altium, PSPICE
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • 2+ years of design experience and knowledge of Printed Wiring Boards (PWB), circuit card assemblies, rigid flex board, or harness
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting aircraft systems in maintenance or operational environments
  • 1+ years of experience with avionics architecture design

  • Keeping current on related industry best practices and technological advancements
  • Lead product development cycles
