As our Electrical Systems Design Engineer in Ardmore, NC, you will tackle diverse projects that stretch your creativity and technical depth, all while partnering closely with mechanical and software peers. A day in the role Your morning begins with a quick sync to align on requirements. By midday, you are translating concepts into schematics and models. In the afternoon, you validate designs against standards and document what you learned so the next project goes even faster. Your impact Design and develop electrical subsystems and components for a range of initiatives. Run feasibility analyses and interpret requirements to optimize performance from the start. Partner with cross-functional teammates to integrate electronics with mechanical assemblies and software controls. Plan and execute testing and validation to comply with industry standards and regulations. Support and troubleshoot existing electrical systems, resolving issues efficiently. Capture design approaches, specifications, and test outcomes in clear, reusable documentation. Track emerging technologies and industry trends to elevate project outcomes. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Hands-on experience designing and developing electrical hardware in a comparable field. Deep knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and control systems. Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, and PSpice. Exceptional problem-solving ability and precise attention to detail. A collaborative mindset and comfort working within cross-functional teams. Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
