About The Position

In the framework of a Photovoltaic plant construction project (125MW), we are currently looking for an Electrical Supervisor. Roles and Responsibilities: Supervise the assembly, installation and execution of the different works on site according to the development of the activities during the execution, and the start-up or commissioning. Review of client requirements and client technical specifications. Management of subcontracted companies, controlling the daily progress of the work. Make personnel and time estimates. Interpretation of plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory: Valid License \/ Active membership with the CIAPR).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Electrical Supervisor in the assembly and construction of large photovoltaic plants projects (+50 Mw).
  • Knowledge of trench excavations, cable laying, inverter connection, medium voltage connection and electrical testing.
  • Experience working with, supervising, and administering subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of state, federal, and local contracting requirements.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and issues.
  • Familiarity with photovoltaic and industry quality standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
  • Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs which may require extensive walking in and around a construction site, walking on uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen, physical, and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
  • Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common applications used in the construction industry.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Willingness to be located on remote site.
