About The Position

Electrical Service Technician Residential Electrician - Service Technician - Sales Technician - Install Leads ACREE Location: Tampa, FL 33619 Schedule: Monday-Friday+ rotating weekends Pay: Commission-based pay $80,000-$130,000 SIGN ON BONUS UP TP $5,000 FOR QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS. Searching for a new Lead Sales Electrician to help support the continued growth of our Electrical Division and increase our overall revenue. Are you a Top Performer? We really want to talk to you! As an Electrician you will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your duties will include communicating with clients to establish job details and related costs, reviewing electrical blueprints to identify wiring circuits, and coordinating with team members to install light fixtures and other items. Requirements

  • Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of residential electrical experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and electrical troubleshooting expertise
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school a plus)
  • Minimum 3-5 Years’ Experience as a Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician
  • Knowledge to work on all types of circuits – mainly residential
  • Must be knowledgeable and proficient with current NEC codes
  • Ability to measure, assemble and install electrical conduit
  • Ability to run all types of wiring including but not limited to romex, mc cable, service cable, underground cable, etc.
  • Ability to properly install all types of electrical devices including but not limited to receptacles, lights, ceiling fans, switches, smoke detectors, etc.
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must have good communication skills to communicate with customers and fellow colleagues
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Background Check and Physical/Drug Screen
  • Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
  • Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electrician's license preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, associates and college degrees preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems
  • Install wiring, outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and other electrical components
  • Ensure electrical systems meet all safety and code requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining work performed and answering questions
  • Accurately document work orders, materials used, and recommendations
  • Work closely with dispatch to ensure efficient scheduling and routing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts.
  • Calibrate equipment to provided specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs.
  • Train incoming new hires

  • Provide cancellation reports to manager.
