About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Service Foreman to oversee, direct, and manage electrical service and small projects from start to finish. This position requires a strong leader who can manage field crews, interact professionally with customers, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and hands-on work. In our service department, no two days are the same. You may be troubleshooting a motor starter failure, diagnosing a VFD that is not communicating with a PLC, tracking down a lighting circuit issue, or supporting a small project that grows into a multi-day installation. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, willing to learn new skills, and able to think outside the box to solve problems for our customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical installation experience
  • Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work
  • Experience with conduit bending and installation
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits and wiring fundamentals
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical systems
  • Experience with instrumentation and controls
  • Ability to diagnose issues involving motor starters, VFDs, PLCs, and lighting systems
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation
  • Strong communication skills with team members, customers, and other trades
  • High attention to detail and commitment to strict safety standards

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician
  • Experience managing service crews or small project teams
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple service calls and projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Review project scope including type of work, materials, project schedule, and duration
  • Lead and coordinate field electricians to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Interact directly with clients and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with PM or Service & Small Projects Manager to deliver successful projects and build long-term customer relationships
  • Prepare crews prior to project start and coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and schedules
  • Identify problems affecting the project and properly document them through photos, reports, and correspondence
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, drives, controls, and lighting circuits
  • Provide feedback to the Service & Small Projects Manager and Project Manager regarding project progress and manpower needs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
