We are currently seeking candidates for an Electrical Reliability Engineer based out of our headquarters in Davenport, IA. This position's primary focus is to deliver quality, cost effective power, to operation's facilities while working within the RiverStone Engineering Team. While based out of Davenport, the role will send you to the Hannibal/Quincy area, as well as the greater St. Louis metropolitan from time to time (less than 25%). Requirements

  • Self-motivation with a strong ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • An attitude of continuous improvement.
  • An ability to utilize an objective approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal, written (report writing), and presentation.
  • A valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Create New Electrical One Line Drawings Using AutoCAD and industry standard electrical symbols.
  • Design Power Distribution systems from scratch, while managing the installation of such systems.
  • Get quotes on equipment and contractor labor
  • Perform Cost analysis and R.O.I. for Generated power vs. Utility Power.
  • Ability to modify, and or troubleshoot existing PLC programs
  • Work in the field updating existing Power distribution drawings.
  • Work onsite co-coordinating projects (responsible for all phases of the project, ensuring deadlines and budget are met).
  • Overnight travel, as needed, to support our 35+ operations in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri
  • Follow Mine Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations, working in tandem with the company Electrical Engineer
