What this job involves: The Electrical Program Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and closeout of electrical projects. This includes developing project plans, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Electrical Program Manager also works with a variety of stakeholders, including engineers, architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure that projects are completed successfully.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical project management
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience working with generator and UPS systems
  • Understanding of load monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Manage and direct a team of electrical engineers and technicians
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed successfully
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical technologies and trends
  • Other duties assigned by leadership.
